About this festival

The Garma Festival is Australia's largest Indigenous cultural gathering, a four-day celebration of Yolngu life and culture held annually at the Gulkula ceremonial site in remote northeast Arnhem Land. It showcases traditional art, storytelling, song, and dance, and serves as a significant forum for dialogue on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander issues, attracting leaders from various sectors.
